New goodies!

So I entered a giveaway at makeup.com last month.
They were giving away some Garnier and Maybelline products, so I entered, all I had to do was comment.

A few weeks later I got an email notifying me that I was one of the 20 winners! I was super excited! I got my goodies today and I'm very excited to show the products I received.

Among the items I received  I was very happy to see Maybelline dream bouncy blush, I've been wanting one since it first came out...

DIY: How I recycled ring binders

These are 3 Inches

Recently this year I ordered a box of binder rings for my biology class. I wasn't sure what size to order so I went for the largest ones which are about 3", since my notebook is pretty thick (5 subject, can you believe it?!).
I received them about a week later, I was very anxious because I've been waiting for them for so long and needed them ASAP for school.
As soon as I received them,  I tried them on my notebook, but to my surprise, the rings were WAY too big, I couldn't even close my notebook. :(

I was a bit disappointed and thought it was a total waste of money, but a few days ago I got some ideas.

The rings were too big, but big enough for holding items and organizing  my closet.

Below are a few things you can do with binder rings.

  • You can use them to hang accessories like belts, scarves, jewelry, sunglasses, handbags, and many other things, this will keep your closet organized and nice.

  • Bathroom Curtain ring
Another way you can recycle binder rings is by using them to hang your bathroom curtain.

Obsessed | Starkins Catch Her Eye!

So I was just watching a music video (Sun by one of my favorite bands, TDCC) on YouTube, when I suddenly saw a comment that looked spammy. As you might already know, it is very common to see spam on YouTube. It is usually musicians and bands spamming in the hope to get famous.

To be honest, I never paid attention to spam on YouTube because I, just like most of you, found that a bit annoying.

So IRONIC...

Money Saving Tips for Teens

Some Ways I  save and earn some money

As a teen, you might find it kind of hard to save and earn some cash.

Below are a few tips, some of the things I do, and  that I want to share with you:

These are just a few things I do and take advantage of, especially with the access of internet.

  • I use Coupon or promo codes when I shop Online
There are many websites that have coupon codes and discount codes for almost all the stores online. These codes can really help you save money! When you enter a code at checkout, your total will go down or you won't even have to pay for shipping! You can find these discount codes at Ebates or Retailmenot. Simply sign up and look for the store you want to shop at. Also if you shop at Karmaloop or PLNDR I have a special promo code for you that will give you 20% OFF, simply enter IGETDISCOUNT at checkout.

  • Earn a little extra by getting paid to shop online
In addition to discounts and coupon codes, Ebates pays you a percentage of your total purchase. They will pay you up to 26% cashback, depending on the store you shop at.

  • Don't spend ALL of your allowance
Most teens are given an allowance, my advice is to not spend your entire money on things that aren't really necessary.  Instead, buy a piggy bank or a nice item where you  can save your money, you'll be surprise how much money you'll have earned in a few months. You could also try investing it, if you enjoy crafting, then you can invest on supplies and open your own small shop online; sell your artwork, crafts, handmade items.

  • Sell unwanted things online
Look through your closet, dresser, under your bed, and even your bathroom! You will probably find many things you just don't want or won't use anymore. Instead of having them being sitting their unused, you could be making some $$$ out of them. Websites like Yardsellr, Etsy, and Ebay, are great to sell your unwanted item, but I recommend Etsy if you make handmade items or have vintage items and want to sell them for a better price.
  • Get paid to watch videos, play games, polls, short surveys, etc
If you Google "get paid to complete surveys online" chances are you will end up in a scam website or boring site. To me the best site to get paid to do offers and share feedback for young people is Swagbucks. You will earn rewards by simply watching videos, playing games, completing offers, doing daily polls, using their search engine, and so many other interested things. So how awesome is that, you sure won't be bored to get paid.

How I got rid of acne blemishes and dark marks fast and naturally

Ugh! I knows how frustrating it is to get nasty zits, but I never  thought what was left afterwards would be even more frustrating!

My mom has always talked to me about how miraculous Aloe Vera is, it heals and reliefs sunburns  minor burns, scratches, and many other skin imperfections.
I remember once when I was little and I was playing with a candle and burned three fingers. My mom rushed to get Aloe and rubbed it on my burn, I instantly felt the relief. My fingers started to heal on the next two days and I was extremely surprised to see no little sign of scars or marks on my fingers. From that day on I was convinced of how wonderful Aloe Vera is on skin!
the gel from the pulp of the leaves of
Aloe vera has been used topically
for thousands of years to treat wounds,
skin infections, burns, and numerous
other dermatologic conditions.

But now I have to deal with zits and annoying blackheads, but it's not just that, I also end up getting ugly dark marks. Well, yes, I have to confess that my acne marks were most probably caused by me picking on them, (Yes I've been a bad girl, lol).

But I got rid of them with this effective aloe vera remedy!

If you take a look at the photos below, I have proven that Aloe Vera does work! My acne scars faded! If you want to try this on your own, just follow these directions:

  1. Make sure your face is clean and fresh (I recommend using a gentle face wash, you can exfoliate your skin but it is better to do so VERY GENTLY.)
  2. Get an aloe Vera leaf and cut off the skin or remove the gel, (or pulp),
  3. Start rubbing the gel gently onto the skin or the affected area. You can leave it as a mask or you can do this before going to bed and leave it for the rest of the night and rinse it off the next morning.
If you decide to leave it at night then I recommend getting a band aid and cover the affected area you have covered with aloe to protect it since it is very common to move while you're sleeping, (Just so you don't remove the aloe gel)

      4. Continue doing this for a week or until it is necessary.

*Important: Make sure your hands are clean and sanitized before doing this.

 Before starting the treatment:
You might not be able to see very clear but even so,
but my face is red and two big marks are visible.

 AFTER 1 WEEK

TADA!!!! Yep, it does work, it worked for me.!

How to make your own Mocha Frapuccino Beverage

DIY Mocha Frapuccino

Have you ever wanted to make your own Mocha Frappuccino  or have you ever felt like not going to the CafĂ©? Well now you can make your own!

It was my friend Angel who gave me this recipe after trying his delicious mocha. I felt like I HAD to ask him for the recipe. So here it is I am going to share it.
  Go ahead try it out!

A very simple recipe to make with simple and delicious ingredients.

Ingredients:

-Milk
-Chocolate Syrup
-Ice cubes
-Coffee Cubes (8)
-Whipped Cream

*NEED BLENDER FOR THIS RECIPE.

Process:

First step Make coffee as you would normally do.
After the coffee is done, Add some sugar, but make sure you add it while the coffee is still HOT/WARM. So the sugar can melt easily, and the coffee will get it's exquisite flavor.

Then pour the coffee on an ice cube maker. Now go ahead and let them freeze on the freezer. When they are ready, take 8 coffee ice cubes and put them in a blender, also add about 1 cup of milk, some regular ice cubes (water ice cubes), and add desire amount of chocolate syrup before and while blending the ingredients together. Now blend them together until desired texture. If desired, put some whipped cream on top of it and pour some chocolate syrup on it.

Now Enjoy!

You are very welcome to leave a comment sharing how you like your mocha, or opinions, we'd love to hear from you! :)

Why Cosittos?

I will use this blog as a diary/journal of some of my crazy little things in my life. I will also like to share some tips, interests, my obsessions, and reflections here.

Why Cosittos?
-"Cositas" means little things in Spanish.
I am Hispanic and cosittos is just my way of saying "Little things". Those crazy little things or other little things to come in my life are the things I will share here.
